Divine Mercy Shrine – Invite to Honor Guard

Divine Mercy has extended an invitation for November 1, 2024, at 6:00 pm to thank the Honor Guard who served on at the Shrine.

Invitation includes wives.

Thursday & Friday, August 23, & 24 – 12th Annual FAITH ON FIRE Catholic Rally

Sacred Heart – 1061 Springfield St, Feeding Hills, MA 01030
6:00 PM on Parish Grounds
Guest Speaker for Thursday: Fr. Chris Alar
Guest Speaker for Friday: Bishop William Byrne, along with Fr. Jeffery Ballou, who is our Faithful Friar of the Fourth Degree Archbishop Williams Assembly #388.
There will be food, adoration in the evening, confessions, laying on of hands by Catholic Priests and Deacons, plus praise and worship music with the Divine Mercy in song.

This is a very wonderful spiritual event you don’t want to miss! Plus, you will get to see your fellow Fourth Degree Knights Honor Guard in action!

IMPORTANT!!! – 4th DEGREE MEETING REMINDER & HELP NEEDED!!!

Dear Worthy Sir Knights,

I hope you all stayed dry over this past weekend.

Here is a reminder of our meeting this Wednesday at 7:00 PM at St. John’s Parish Center, in the Fr. Joyce Room. We will be having food and light refreshments at the meeting. I will be arriving around 6:30pm to get things in order.

In the meantime, thank you very much to all those who helped with our Councils and Grand Knights list. We are still short on the list, and I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!

My fellow knights, as your Worthy Faithful Navigator, it is part of my sacred responsibility to promote Patriotism, Charity, Unity, and Fraternity. By this, we need to bridge the councils with the 4th degree.

More council involvement = more council participation. By doing this, we are ensuring our young children the importance of our mission to pass on a great brotherhood to benefit our nation, which today’s moral and Godly values are under extreme challenge!

Encuentro Latino 2024 – Great Event!

What a great turnout for the Encuentro Latino 2024 event! There were thousands in attendance and, a good turnout of Honor Guard too!

With deep regret – Frank Mazzei

Worthy Knights,

It is with deep regret that I inform you that Frank Mazzei has passed on to Our Lord. He died Sunday after being sent home from the hospital on hospice.

Frank was a Past Grand Knight of JFK Council 5585 and a Past Faithful Navigator of the West Springfield Assembly before returning to the Archbishop Williams Assembly 388.

Honor Guard have been requested. Please make what effort you can to be there to honor this active Knight.

Frank’s wake is Thursday at the Agawam Funeral Home, 184 Main St, Agawam MA 01001.

Calling hours are 4-7 pm. We will be doing the Knight’s Prayers at 6:30 pm.

The funeral is Friday at Sacred Heart Parish 1061 Springfield St., Feeding Hills, MA 01030 at 11:45 am.

Burial to follow at Agawam Veterans Memorial Cemetery 1390 Main St., Agawam MA 01001.
