Request for Honor Guard – Annual Fatima Festival in Ludlow

Worthy Sirs,

We have received a request for Honor Guards for the Annual Fatima Festival in Ludlow.  The letter is addressed to council members of all Knights; however, we are requested to come in uniform, not in council shirts.

The following is the request:

Gentlemen,

I’d like to share a quick review of the information for the Festa and the procession:

          • Parking: There is no designated parking exclusively for the Knights. Limited parking may be available at Sts. Peter and Paul Parish on Newbury Street, or at the Senior Center on State Street (you may need to sign up or call ahead for availability). In addition, a free shuttle bus will run from the Ludlow High School parking lot from 2:00–11:00 p.m.
          • Schedule for Sunday, August 31, 2025:
            • 6:00 p.m. – Gathering
            • 6:30 p.m. – Outdoor bilingual Mass
            • Immediately following – Bilingual candlelight procession
          • Procession details:
            • Please wear your council shirts to represent your councils.
            • The processional walk will be for Knights exclusively. Spouses may participate in the side columns.
            • Upon arrival at the chapel, we will be positioned on the left side (as you face the chapel from below).
          • Rosary: If it becomes difficult to hear or follow the rosary during the procession—since it may at times be recited solely in Portuguese—I ask that one of our Knights be prepared to lead the rosary in English for our group. It should be spoken just loudly enough for the Knights to participate together.

I hope to see many of you there, as I’m sure both the Blessed Mother and Father McGivney will be pleased with our presence.

Please feel free to share this message with your council members who are planning to attend. If I’ve missed anything or if you have additional information to share, don’t hesitate to do so.

Thank you all,
With regards,
Tony Silva

Exemplification Info – November 16, 2025

Worthy Faithful Comptrollers, Navigators and Sir Knights:

You will find the event info on the Master’s Corner page here.

I am trying to keep the price down, so we can keep it affordable. Because of affordability, we can have many more candidates to become 4th degree Members.  Candidates will be exemplified with New Exemplification for the first time in Massachusetts.

Open to Public, this means that members who do not wish to become 4th Degree Members at this time can come and observe and hopefully will join 4thdegree in the future. Also, they can buy a banquet ticket and take part in the festivities.  Obviously, families are welcome. Please consider becoming a sponsor of a candidate.

All Forms 4 must be submitted to the Assembly Comptroller of the Assembly. The assembly that a candidate wants to be a member of, is then voted in by the assembly and check for a full payment order is made out by the Assembly and mailed to me.
